A MAN accused of harassing pop star Robbie Williams failed to turn up to court yesterday to face trial.
Sean Stimson, 29, allegedly breached a restraining order by writing letters to the singer's solicitors, Harbottle and Lewis, in July.
But he did not travel to Bow Street Magistrates' Court yesterday from his home in Middlesbrough, because his journey was not fully covered by a travel warrant.
The hearing was adjourned to a later date, when Stimson's journey will be paid for by the court.
Stimson, of Angle Street, Middlesbrough, was banned from any contact with Robbie Williams's lawyers by an order of Bow Street magistrates on March 19, 2002.
