A PROGRAMME and presenter reshuffle is under way at a local radio station.
Matthew Davies, BBC Local Radio Presenter of the Year, is moving after four years as host of BBC Radio Cleveland's afternoon show to a new mid-morning, consumer programme.
Mr Davies said: "We champion this area like no other station. Our greatest strength is our localness and if listeners want help or advice with anything, then we will be here to try and help them.''
His 2pm to 5pm slot will be filled by John Foster, who joined the station less than a year ago, while former Magic 1170 DJ Bruce Edwards takes over the 5am to 7am show.
Caroline Davies is being taken off the mid-morning show she has presented for the past 18 months to work on special projects.
Radio Cleveland's managing editor, Andrew Glover, said: "It seems appropriate that we start the New Year with a new sound and a new consumer edge, boosted by the best journalism possible.
The new line-up is launched on Monday.
