A YOUNG boy's dream came true when he met up with pantomime star Linda Lusardi for a second time.
Andrew Hutchon, seven, of Darlington, was only a few months old when he met the actress in July 1995.
She was in Darlington to open the Friends of the Hospital shop at Darlington Memorial Hospital and was pictured cradling Andrew in her arms.
After hearing she was starring in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, at the Civic Theatre, Andrew wrote to Linda asking if he could meet her again. Yesterday, the Abbey Road Junior School pupil met Linda before enjoying the performance.
Andrew's father, David Hutchon said: "I am a supporter of the Friends of the Hospital and when Linda opened the shop I presented her with a bunch of flowers.
"My wife and Andrew, who was only a few months old at the time, were also there. Linda held Andrew and had her photograph taken.
"We thought it would be nice for Andrew to have the opportunity to see her again and that Linda might be interested in seeing what he was like now.
"It was a very nice meeting and Linda was lovely."
