JOE Angus hopes to collect sponsorship money as well as stares after having half his beard and moustache shaved off for charity.
Staff and regulars at The Brooms pub, in Urpeth Grange, near Chester-le-Street, County Durham, watched as Joe's son-in-law, Jason Crawford, shaved half his face bare at the weekend.
Following the stunt, Mr Angus is planning to spend the rest of the week with the remaining half of his facial hair intact before having that shaved off too.
He hopes his efforts will raise funds for the children's cancer ward in Newcastle's Royal Victoria Infirmary.
