A SCHOOLBOY stepped into the limelight when he met up with pantomime star Linda Lusardi for a second time.
Andrew Hutchon, seven, of Darlington, was only a few months old when he first met the actress in July 1995. She was opening the Friends of the Memorial Hospital shop and was pictured cradling Andrew in her arms.
After hearing she was appearing in this year's Civic Theatre pantomine - Snow White - Andrew, a pupil at Abbey Road Junior school, wrote asking if they could meet again.
And his wish came true at the weekend before he saw the show.
Dad David Hutchon said: "I am a supporter of the Friends of the Hospital and when Linda opened the shop I presented her with a bunch of flowers.
"My wife and Andrew, who was only a few months old at the time, were also there. Linda held Andrew and had her photograph taken.
"We thought it would be nice for Andrew to have the opportunity to see her again and that Linda might be interested in seeing what he was like now. It was a very nice meeting and Linda was lovely."
