TWO Teesside women have been appointed to the board of North Tees Primary Care Trust.
Elizabeth Bridge and Jean Forster have taken up the post of non-executive directors.
They will help oversee the trust's work in Stockton, Thornaby, Yarm, Billingham and Port Clarence.
Mrs Briggs, originally from Billingham, spent much of her career working on Teesside for the NHS after completing training in 1976.
A former director of Age Concern Teesside, she also worked as a mental health nurse based at Winterton Hospital, in Sedgefield.
Mrs Forster has 30 years' experience with the NHS. Originally from Glasgow, she has lived in Stockton since 1967.
