A North-East chef has won a national prize for his culinary skills.
Chris Kindlan, 35, of Whitley Bay, North Tyneside, won the Paul Taylor Trophy as GNER's Chef of the Year.
The trophy was named after the chef who won the award in 2000 but died a year later in the Selby rail disaster.
