SUNDERLAND fans in Chester-le-Street huddled around radios to hear their side given a possible away trip in the FA Cup fourth round.
The Black Cats, struggling to stave off relegation from the Premiership, were the only North-East side to go into the hat after they drew 1-1 at Bolton in the third round last Saturday, following defeats for arch-rivals Newcastle United and Darlington.
If they can overcome Bolton in Tuesday's replay at the Stadium of Light, Sunderland will travel to take on Blackburn in another all-Premiership tie on January 25 and 26..
John Adamson, 49, treasurer of the Chester-le-Street branch of the Sunderland Supporters' Association, said: "Another away trip, unfortunately, and a hard one.
"In saying that, we have to get past Bolton first. I think we will. I don't think Bolton are putting too much into it and turned out a reserve side on Saturday.
