Bishop Auckland manager Brian Honour is hoping that none of his team's away games will be called off over the rest of the season.
Bishops were one of just a handful of clubs to be in action last Saturday when they played at Matlock, and Honour was pleased to get the long journey to Derbyshire out of the way, although he was disappointed with the 4-2 defeat.
"We're lucky in the sense that we've had no long distance away games postponed recently," he said.
"If a Saturday away game is called off, then that would give us big problems if the game is re-arranged for a Tuesday night.
"On the other hand, it won't be the end of the world if any of our home games are postponed, because that would give our opponents the headache of having to travel up here for a midweek game."
Bishops are at home to Witton Albion tomorrow, but the game could be in doubt because of the recent bad weather.
Spennymoor have arranged to play their Durham Challenge Cup tie at Dunston on Tuesday, kick off 7.30pm. If the game is postponed for any reason, then it will be switched to the Brewery Field on Thursday night.
Moors are still less than halfway through their fixtures, and with the season scheduled to end by the end of April to accommodate the play offs, they are facing the possibility of playing three games per week.
Moors are also involved in the Presidents Cup, in which they have to travel to Runcorn.
The home game against Bishop Auckland, which was scheduled for next Tuesday, will have to be re-arranged.
