TALES of window cleaning, first loves and family differences, written and performed by an over-fifties drama group, are to be staged this month.
Win Some, Lose Some, is a collection of monologues written and performed by Live Wires, a North-East writing and performance group for the over-fifties.
The pieces are based on the real life experiences of the group and observations of life and are set in a charity shop, where a series of characters reveal their funny and moving stories from window cleaning to first loves.
The performances will be staged at Newcastle's Live Theatre this evening and tomorrow, at 8pm, at The Customs House, South Shields, on Wednesday, January 22, at 2.30pm, and at Gateshead's Caedmon Hall on January 24, at 1.30pm.
