PEOPLE from all over the world can keep track of a school after it launched its website.
St Hild's College CE Aided Primary School, in Gilesgate, Durham, is among only a few primary schools to have set up a site.
Mainly designed as an educational tool for pupils, it is also used by friends of the school keen on keeping abreast of its news.
ICT co-ordinator Lynda Atkinson, who is behind the website, said: "We knew we needed a website so we spoke to the children and got ideas.
"There's a lot of the children's work on the website and it is constantly being updated.
"One of the things the children like is a links page with websites they have been using in lessons or that support their learning."
Ms Atkinson said the ultimate aim was to establish Internet links with schools throughout the world.
