Police have released a photograph of a Hobby Prestige caravan worth £10,000 which was stolen from a County Durham compound.
The caravan was one of 40 kept in a compound in Morrison Road, Annfield Plain, Stanley, when it went missing on December 29.
It is described as mainly white with a blue-grey stripe along the full length of its side.
PC Michael Wilson said: "We believe someone, particularly motorists, may have noticed a caravan matching this description.
"Certainly at this time of the year, caravans, and this is quite a large one, are not a regular part of everyday traffic."
Anyone with information has been asked to call Stanley police station on (01207) 232144.
