For the second time in recent years, Spennymoor Amateur Operatic Society's pantomime Dick Whittington is likely to be a sell-out.
Dick is played by Beverley Fishburn, and Tommy the Cat by nine-year-old Nicolle Richardson in her first role with the society.
The comedy is once again in the capable hands of Gordon Briggs as Sarah the Cook and Malcolm Cooper playing the town idiot Jack.
The show runs until Saturday at Spennymoor Town Hall at 7 pm each night.
Tickets are available from John Welsh Jewellers in Spennymoor or on 01388 420057.
