THE Mayor of Redcar and Cleveland will meet the Mayor of Hiroshima today.
Tadoshi Akiba will be guest of honour at the first Mayors For Peace forum at Leeds Civic Hall.
Eric Jackson, Mayor of Redcar and Cleveland, will be one of 90 mayors attending the seminar.
Sixty mayors will attend from across Britain and 30 from Europe, including France, Germany, Belgium and Portugal.
