EXPERTS ran their eyes over guns, fishing tackle and military memorabilia from across the region at an antiques valuation.
Valuers from auction house Holt's were on hand in Lumley Castle, Chester-le-Street, to look at a range of old firearms and angling equipment.
Commander Bill Sidgewick, of Holt's, said: "It was an absolutely brilliant day. We had the most terrific interest shown and some very nice bits and pieces brought in, from a military drum to a lot of very good fishing gear and good guns.
"We had some interesting militaria, including an old book about Adolf Hitler. There was also a lot of good, hardy fishing reels that will make a good sum. It was a very busy day."
The Holt's team is due back in the North-East in April for another valuation day.
