PET owners in Teesside and east Durham can have their cat or dog neutered for less in an RSPCA initiative starting this month.
The charity's Durham, Hartlepool and District Branch has teamed up with a the Clifton Lodge veterinary practice, in Hartlepool, to offer owners in Hartlepool and the surrounding area who are on benefits a cut-price neutering service for their pets.
The branch is charging £5 for a cat and £10 for a dog to be neutered.
