RESIDENTS of Shildon and the surrounding area are invited to a day of fun, relaxation and information.
The event, organised by the Pioneering Care Partnership, Age Concern Durham County, PRT Carers' Centre, and Health Promotion, will be held at Jubilee Fields Community Centre on Monday, January 27, from 10am to 3pm.
The day will include the chance for a free complementary therapy taster in reiki, reflexology or aromatherapy, healthy cookery, crime prevention, stress management, gentle exercise and smoking cessation workshops. A free lunch is available and the first 12 people to book a place on the crime prevention workshop will receive a free personal attack alarm.
Anyone wishing more details or to book a place on any of the sessions should call Gill MacNab on (01325) 321234 before January 23.
