PUPILS from a Newton Aycliffe school have had their achievements recognised by the town's Rotary Club.
Greenfield Community and Arts College figured strongly in the Rotary Club of Newton Aycliffe's awards for Young Citizens of the Year.
A group award was given to James Graham, Andrew Dickons, Lee Miller and Steven Place in recognition of their commitment to the community work with an older persons' care establishment.
Former pupil Shaun Lindon received an award for his support in the development of the community arts centre.
Year 11 pupil Karl Chapman received the main award in recognition of his commitment in supporting adults with learning disabilities in learning ICT skills.
