Juliet Mitchell, 27, of Eskdale Street, Darlington has been fined £20 for breaching a community rehabilitation order.
The 18-month order was made in February last year for seven counts of theft, but Mitchell failed to attend meetings with the probation service on three occasions.
The court heard that since the breaches Mitchell had attended meetings with the probation service and was making good progress.
She was fined £20 and the order was allowed to continue.
CASE ADJOURNED: Dawn Mitchinson, 39, of Corporation Road, Darlington appeared at magistrates' court yesterday charged with breaching a 12-month community rehabilitation order made last May.
The court was told that letters had gone missing from the guesthouse where she was staying, so she was unaware of her appointments with the probation service.
The order was made following three thefts and a breach of bail.
The case was adjourned until February 18 for reports. A separate charge of assault against Mitchinson was also adjourned until the same day.
MOTORING charges: Peter Beevers, 37, of Drummond Close, Darlington, appeared in magistrates' court yesterday charged with driving without a licence, no insurance and without a test certificate. He was stopped by police in Skinnergate, Darlington in June last year while driving a Peugeot 205.
The case was adjourned until February 13.
WARRANT ISSUED: A warrant without bail has been issued for Lisa Burnside, 28, of Lyonette Road, Darlington. She failed to appear at Darlington Magistrates' Court yesterday on a charge of assault.
NO BAIL: A warrant without bail was issued yesterday for Amy Kent, 19, of Hollyhurst Road, Darlington. She failed to appear in Darlington Magistrates' Court on Wednesday to answer a charge of stealing a jumper, valued at £70, from Binns, in the town.
