A soldier has been killed in a road accident in Northern Ireland.
Corporal Keith Lewis, 36, from Middlesbrough, was driving a car which was in a collision with another car in Limavady, County Londonderry.
Two people travelling in the second car, including a two-year-old boy, were injured.
Police said Mr Lewis's blue Vauxhall Astra appeared to have gone out of control near a war memorial in the town centre.
The soldier, who was based at Ballykelly barracks three miles away, died at the scene.
A 59-year-old woman and her grandson, who were in a silver Audi 80, were taken to hospital. Their injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
