A full set of Calloway golf clubs in a grey and black trolley bag, valued at £1,700, were stolen from an outhouse in Hylton Road, Ferryhill, between 4pm on Tuesday and 8pm on Wednesday.
Also taken was a Black & Decker strimmer, worth £25, and a yellow Flymo lawnmower, valued at £40.
CAR THEFT: A silver Vauxhall Corsa, registration number P650 BCW, was stolen from outside The Tavern pub, in Chilton, between 8.15pm and 9.55pm on Wednesday.
STORE DAMAGE: A 6ft by 5ft window at the Boyes store in Newton Aycliffe town centre was smashed between 5.30pm on Tuesday and 7am on Wednesday.
