Thrilled pupils at a North-East school have won a visit from chart-toppers Blazin Squad.
The group will perform three songs - including their number one hit Crossroads - at Eastbourne Comprehensive, in Darlington, on Thursday.
The venue was chosen after the school entered a competition on radio station TFM to have the band play for pupils and staff.
All the schools in the competition were entered into an on-line poll and the one with the most votes was rewarded with a visit by the group.
Eastbourne Comprehensive received an astonishing 75,000 votes in just over two weeks as pupils, parents and staff logged on to try to win the gig as a prize.
Now youngsters at the school are battling it out to get their hands on one of the 250 tickets for the show.
A ticket will be awarded every time a pupil is given a commendation for good work or behaviour until they have all been allocated.
Headteacher Karen Pemberton said: "We are very pleased to have won the competition.
"The children are really looking forward to seeing Blazin Squad and they are all working really hard to win a ticket for the show."
The gig at Eastbourne Comprehensive will be a warm up for the band who are setting off on their first UK headline tour in May.
