Fourteen youths aged 13 to 17 were arrested as part of a police crackdown on youth disorder in the Biddick Hall area of South Tyneside over the weekend.
Seven of them, including one girl, have been charged with offences ranging from causing public nuisance, witness intimidation and criminal damage, and will appear before South Tyneside magistrates on Wednesday.
Six others have received formal cautions and one has been bailed pending further inquiries.
