SCIENCE'S view of life after death will be the subject of a lecture later this month.
The Reverend Dr John Polkinghorne will give a talk called Science, Christianity and the End of the World: Is there a Destiny Beyond Death? at Durham Cathedral, next Monday, at 7.30pm.
Dr Polkinghorne, a mathematical physicist, was awarded the Templeton Religion prize from the Duke of Edinburgh last year for his lectures which apply scientific thinking to religious issues.
The lecture is one of three mixed faith meetings looking at God and science, which are taking place across the country.
