PEOPLE can have their say on proposals to extend access to large areas of the County Durham countryside.
New laws governing access rights to land have resulted in draft maps being produced across England.
The draft map covering County Durham can be inspected and people are invited to give their comments on it.
It is available to view at County Hall, Durham, between 8am and 8pm, Monday to Friday, and from 8am to noon on Saturdays.
A copy can also be seen at district council offices.
