A PUB where a man died in a bar brawl has been put up for sale.
The Rise Carr Hotel, in Darlington, has been closed since the death of David Willis, 51, last May.
The painter and decorator, of William Street, Darlington, died five days after he fell and hit his head during a disagreement with pub manager Steve Webb.
Mr Webb, 35, was originally charged with manslaughter but the prosecution was later dropped because of insufficient evidence. He chose not to return to work at the pub.
The Rise Carr, in Whessoe Road, was closed following the incident while Hartlepool brewer Pubmaster, which owns the pub, looked for a new tenant.
A spokeswoman for Pubmaster said: "The pub was put up for sale in mid-December.
"A sale has been agreed subject to contract and we are waiting to see how it develops."
