ELVIS fanatic Sue Wells was left all shook up yesterday - when the King turned up to wish her a happy retirement.
After more than two decades working for the rail industry in York she's moving on to pastures new. To wish her on her way two Presley look-a-likes gave her the surprise of her life at the city's station.
GNER colleagues David Mallender and Geoff Nicholls dressed up for the occasion with jump suits and wigs to make her day really special.
"We know Sue is crazy about the King of rock 'n' roll," said Mr Mallender.
"She always has Elvis calendars on the wall and even has an Elvis screen-saver on her computer."
Sue started working for the industry when she joined British Rail Engineering at the old carriageworks in the city.
She later worked in the typing pool, with British Transport Police and, since 1985, has been in the railway's public relations department.
She is planning a trip to the King's home of Graceland, in Memphis, Tennessee.
