THE revamped ice arena in Billingham is enjoying record visitor numbers.
More than 2,000 people visit the arena at Billingham Forum each weekend.
In January last year, 9,000 people used the arena. This year, that figure was reached half-way through the month.
The refurbishment included better lighting and sound, and a new skating surface.
