A SCHEME to cut traffic congestion in Easingwold is part of a consultation exercise by North Yorkshire County Council.
The scheme aims to make walking, cycling, and public transport more attractive as an alternative to the car.
A sample survey will be carried out by posting questionnaires to ten per cent of the residential and business addresses in Easingwold.
Mike Moore, the county council's director of environmental services said: "This sample survey gives the community the chance to comment on traffic management problems and issues, and to say what improvements they think are required in the town. I would encourage residents and businesses to return their questionnaires."
