A COUPLE have been charged with supplying amphetamines after a police raid.
Langbaurgh police raided a house in Mersey Road, Redcar, as part of a crackdown on crime.
A total of £500 worth of amphetamines and £800 in cash was taken in the raid, on Tuesday evening.
The couple, a 29-year-old man and 32-year-old woman, have both been charged with possession with intent to supply and appeared at Teesside magistrates on Wednesday.
Detective Inspector Mick Wall said: "This raid demonstrates that we will respond quickly to information."
