Spennymoor's new manager Jamie Pollock says that he's looking forward to the challenge at the Brewery Field.
Former Middlesbrough midfielder Pollock gained a measure of the task ahead when he sat in the stands last Saturday for his first game, and he saw Moors lose 3-0 at home to North Ferriby.
"It will be a great challenge, and it will be a big learning curve, but I love challenges.
"I'm going to watch the next few matches, take a step back, and have a look at the players. Jason Ainsley, my assistant, has told me that there are some good lads at the club who work hard. Everybody is on an even keel, and I won't be making any rush decisions about players.
"I've spoken to the club owner, Benny Mottram, about the future. We will all have to be patient, and make sure that progress is at the right pace.
"I don't see the point in playing yet. Jason is playing, so if I turn out, then there won't be anybody on the bench to make decisions as the game goes along."
Moors have released full back Anthony Lee by mutual consent.
Bishop Auckland, meanwhile, could have a new defender in their line up by tomorrow for their home game with Leek Town - but it is understood that Lee is not being lined up for a return to Bishops.
The game was abandoned last month when the floodlights failed near the end when Bishops were leading 2-1.
Whitby Town are without a game this weekend, but have an attractive home game on Monday night against York City in the North Riding Senior Cup.
