THEATRE lovers are taking the chance to work with the UK's leading acting company.
Tickets for a two-hour workshop in Hambleton with experts from the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) are selling fast.
The company will be unveiling some of the tricks of their trade at the Easingwold workshop next month.The event is being staged as part of the RSC's week-long visit to Northallerton. Seven performances of The Merry Wives of Windsor and Coriolanus are being given at Hambleton Leisure Centre from Tuesday, February 4 to February 8.
"This is a rare opportunity to work with the RSC," said leisure grants officer Kate Staines.
"We are all looking forward to learning from the masters. They will run the workshop based on acting and direction - who better to learn from than the best theatre company in the country?"
Tickets for the workshop, on Wednesday, February 5, from 7pm to 9pm, at the Galtres Centre, Easingwold, are £3. For details, call (01609) 767149.
