A LOVING family home is being sought for a crossbreed dog which has been in the care of an animal charity for almost a year.
Ben, who is three-years-old, was taken in by the National Animal Sanctuaries Support League after his owners separated.
He is being cared for by a foster family in Yarm.
Pauline Wilson, of the league, said: "Ben is absolutely lovely. He is typical of the dogs we have in here because he comes from a broken home.
"He needs to be taught some more manners, but I think he could be a really talented dog - maybe become an agility dog.
"He is staying in a home with other dogs and cats at the moment, so he doesn't have a problem with that. He will make a lovely family pet."
Anyone interested in adopting Ben is asked to call (01325) 321855.
