A VISIT to Ingleby Barwick will allow guests to assess how work on two schools with community facilities is progressing.
Representatives from Stockton Council and the Church of England's York Diocese will be taking a trip to the site of All Saints Secondary and Myton Park Primary Schools on Wednesday.
The campus, which will also include a library and a sports facility, is due to open in the autumn.
The schools are part of a community campus being built on behalf of the council and the diocese by a consortium led by the Robertson Group through a private finance initiative.
"We are delighted to report that the building programme is still on target and we have developed a good working relationship with PFI contractors," said project manager Lionel Danby, of Stockton Borough Council.
"This will be an ideal opportunity for representatives of the partner organisations to see how well this project is coming along."
"The schools and community facilities are on schedule to open in September as planned."
Director of Education for the Diocese of York, Dr Ann Lees, said: "We can now see real progress towards meeting some of the needs of this new community.
"All Saints already has a headteacher and shadow governing body and they will be as pleased as I am to see the school taking shape"
