A CHESTER-le-Street school is offering free computer classes and courses over the Internet.
The Hermitage School was recently awarded £220,000 by the Government to open a UK OnLine centre.
The school is launching free computer tuition, where people can learn how to use the Internet, e-mail, word processing and spreadsheets.
Trained staff will be on hand to offer guidance, or those interested in computer training can register for computer courses at the school and then complete their studies from home or work.
An open day will be held at The Hermitage on Wednesday, from noon to 7pm.
To book a course, call Toni Fisher on 0191-388 7161.
