MORE than £400,000 of boxed Dinky, Corgi and matchbox toys are to be auctioned.
Experts on Teesside, who will be selling the 1950s to the 1970s collection, say they have never seen so many toys in mint condition.
Bryan Goodall, chairman of the Vectis Auction group, of Thornaby, said: "It is exceptional to find die cast toys like this in such good condition.
Among the toys being offered is a Dinky articulated lorry that originally cost 7s 6d but is now likely to fetch £350. A £2 Corgi circus gift set and a Matchbox Vauxhall Cresta car that cost 2s in 1960 are likely to bring in about £1,500 each.
The auction is being held in Buckingham.
