A TERMINALLY-ill woman who has competed in some of the toughest endurance races to raise thousands of pounds for charity yesterday completed the York half-marathon.
Jane Tomlinson's bravery has already been recognised when she won a BBC Sports Personality of the Year award last December.
Mrs Tomlinson, 38, who has breast cancer, won the Helen Rollason award for courage and bravery in sport after running the London Marathon, a triathlon and the Great North Run.
Mrs Tomlinson's efforts have already raised more than £100,000 for Cancer Research UK.
The mother-of-three was diagnosed with breast cancer 12 years ago.
She underwent a mastectomy but the cancer returned.
Two years ago, she was told it had spread to her lungs and bones and that it was incurable.
