A NORTH-East student is hoping to help school-leavers choose their future career, with a new website.
Paul Newcombe, 25, from Kenton, Newcastle, a multimedia design student at the University of Northumbria, has built a website for Gateshead course provider Access Training, on its Modern Apprenticeships programme.
He said: "My brief was to create a business-like site which would appeal to all young people looking for the first steps on a career ladder and employers looking to recruit or train.
"I hope the site is easy to navigate and interesting to use."
Training manager Julie Reay said: "We are delighted with the site Paul has produced.
"It gives lots of information in an interactive way and should allow anyone, whether employer or potential employee, to see what work- based learning and, in particular, Modern Apprenticeships can offer."
