COLLEGE staff are promoting their own tree of know-ledge as part of a garden centre festival this week.
They will be at Strike's garden centre, in Northallerton, North Yorkshire, on Thursday, from 10am, to tempt visitors to learn more about gardening, either on the Internet or at a series of Saturday workshops at Northallerton College.
"The idea is to develop adult learning in its widest sense by encouraging people to find out more about gardening" said the college's manager of lifelong learning, Dr Judith Aird.
Strike's will be pursuing a similar theme with an open afternoon on the same day featuring BBC Radio Cleveland's gardening expert Alan Delamore.
