A NEW exhibition aims to take residents of a North-East town on a trip back in time.
Through The Lens Of Time is a display of photographs showing many of the changes Stockton has seen over the decades.
The exhibition is by Jack Marriott, who worked as a professional photographer in Stockton from 1953 to 1989.
As well as photographing industrial subjects, he also took portraits photographs and many Stockton weddings.
His work will be exhibited in the Green Dragon Museum, in Stockton, until Saturday, March 1.
Rachel Mason, Stockton Borough Council's community history officer, said: "Through this wonderful selection of photographs, Jack sympathetically captures Stockton at a time of great change."
Museum admission is free.
