YOUNG actors will bring the rock 'n' roll era of the 50s back to life tonight in a production of the hit musical, Grease.
Greencroft School, in Annfield Plain, near Stanley, will be transformed into Rydell High for the performance by lower school pupils.
Drama worker Shaun Towers, of the Durham County Access Team, worked with teacher Helen Collinson to adapt the script for the show and Karen Surtees, head of art, created a backcloth and a car. It marks the stage debut for many of the youngsters in the cast, which features Adam Knowles, Justine Liddell and Sarah Parkinson in the lead roles
