AYCLIFFE Fabrications has won contracts to provide anti-vandal guards for two lighting projects in the region.
Lytestream Electrical Engineers have installed floodlights to highlight Bowes Museum, in Barnard Castle, County Durham, and they commissioned Aycliffe Fabrications to produce guards to stop the lights falling foul of vandals.
The companies have also worked together on the lighting for the Blackett, Hart & Pratt building on the Faverdale Estate, in Darlington.
Aycliffe Fabrications, which was established on Aycliffe Industrial Park 22 years ago, specialises in one-off fabrications in stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel.
Eugene Tully, of Lytestream Electrical Engineers, said: "We were pleased to work with Aycliffe Fabrications on both of these projects.
"It is an important part of the job to ensure that the lighting we install is properly protected, for both aesthetic and security purposes, and they can provide us with exactly what we require for each job."
Dave Spensley, director of Aycliffe Fabrications, said: "Our team of tradesmen are highly skilled and we were delighted to be involved in both of these prestigious projects."
