BEADS FC 1 v 2 Richmond Town
after a scrappy half hour Richmond took the lead when Adam Emson's shot rebounded off Archie Moore back to Emson who slotted home the opener. In the 75th minute Richmond broke and Emson scored his sixth of the season, before BEADS finally scored in the 83rd minute when Paul Callen netted. BEADS penned the visitors back but their poor finishing brought an end to their unbeaten run.
Carlin How 4 v 2 Bedale FC
leaders Bedale took the lead after 20 minutes following a corner which was scrambled home by Michael Robinson from six yards. Just before half time Carlin How found themselves on level terms when Nicky Anderson's effort rebounded off the bar to Martin Say who followed up. In the second half a cross by Carlin's Nicky Ward hit the crossbar again and Steve Starsmore was on hand to score and they took a 3-1 lead when Anderson tapped home. Chris Lax then shot home to make it 4-1 before Bedale's Robinson headed in.
Grangetown BC 2 v 1 Thornaby YC
just before half time Paul Cochrane gave the Boys Club a slender lead and his brother, Steven, made it 2-0. YC pushed and were rewarded when Robbie Shaw scored.
Mackinlay Park 1 v 2 Fishburn Park
Mackinlay shocked their visitors when they took the lead through Lee Wells, but this lead was cancelled out by Dean Price. With ten minutes remaining Fishburn scored the winner through Paul Graham.
Thornaby FC 3 v 2 New Marske SC
With the help of a strong wind they completely outplayed their visitors New Marske Sports Club and took the lead after only eight minutes through Danny Jones, Michael Arif made it 2-0 and Jones then scored his second of the match to make it 3-0. The visitors fought back and grabbed two goals though Adam Taylor and Paul Graham.
Acklam SW 1 v 1 Wolviston Res
This match was abandoned after an hour following a broken leg to Robbie Barrett of Wolviston Res.
Division Two
Teesside Ath 0 v 1 Darlington CB
The match was dominated by the strong wind blowing off the sea, and the home side were on top for the first half with the advantage of the wind. In the second half Cleveland Bridge took advantage and scored the only goal of the game through man of the match Stu Hardy.
Teesside Link 10 v 3 D'ton RA Res
Teesside took a tenth minute lead through Andrew Harrow and he added before Steve Hill made it 3-0 at the break. The visitors pulled it back to 3-1 through Darren West but Harrow completed his hat trick only to see Peter Gormley pull it back to 4-2 on the hour. The home side then went nap and Paul Livingstone scored an un-interrupted hat-trick to make it 7-2. Teammate Paul Lambert scored and then Tony Wray made it 9-2, but Mark Armstrong pulled a goal back before Lambert notched.
A Burness Plate preliminary round
SMG Redstripes 1 v 2 Dormans FC
After an evenly contested opening half hour SMG looked to be on the road to victory when Alex Degiorgis scored in the 35th minute. The match turned in the 85th minute, when John Adamson fouled, was sent off and from the free kick James McGowan made it 1-1. The Dormans side were on top for the first time in the match and pushed with Paul Prichard scoring the winner to send them into the next round against Guisborough Town Reserves.
Durham County Trophy semi-final
SC Sunderland 3 v 1 Teesside Arriva
SC Sunderland took the lead through Barry Cook when he floated the ball over Steve Jewson and five minutes later it was 2-0 when Darren Greener scored. Arriva pulled one back through man of the match Lee Haggan but Sunderland side scored again through Gavin Wilson.
