THE traditions of Eastern culture are the inspiration behind an exhibition created by students.
The work, by year 11 pupils who are studying GCSE art and design at Spennymoor School, is on display at Durham University's Oriental Museum until February 24. The exhibition includes paintings, oriental prints and other pieces.
Head of art at Spennymoor School, Steve Livingstone, said: "The works are the result of a long-standing collaboration between the school and the museum and this is the third time that the school's work has been exhibited there.
"The work is of a high standard and the students have enjoyed working towards the exhibition.''
