STUDENTS at a Hartlepool college will have their achievements recognised at an award ceremony.
The ceremony, which will take place at Hartlepool College of Further Education on Thursday, will involve the presentation of certificates and awards to 38 students.
Guest of honour Pam Eccles, the executive director of the Learning and Skills Council, will announce the overall Student of the Year 2002.
Alan Wright will host the event, which will bring together this year's themes of partnership and achievement.
Anthony Sutcliffe, principal and chief executive of the college said: "The award ceremony is an important event in the life of the college. It allows the college, its partners and the community to come together to celebrate the considerable achievements of the students."
