POLITICS students from a Stockton college will be greeted by a local MP when they make a visit to Westminster next week.
When they arrive, the students from Stockton Sixth Form College will be welcomed by Dari Taylor, MP for Stockton South, who will take them on a tour of the parliament building.
As part of the college's annual educational visit to London, a group of business, media and sociology students will also be making trips to places of interest.
Media students will head for the British Board of Film Classification headquarters and the BBC in Shepherd's Bush, while business and economics students will take a look at case studies at the Advertising Standards Authority.
They will also tour the Bank of England Museum.
Sociology students will visit Bow Street Magistrates' Court and tour Harrow public school.
* FORTY students from the college will spend three days at Disneyland Paris next week, looking at the use of technology in the world of entertainment.
Many of the students will be going on to study information technology at university.
While at Disneyland, they will look at advertising, marketing and the Internet, computer-aided design and computer artwork and animation.
