A MAN had part of his ear bitten off during an assault last weekend, police revealed yesterday.
A police spokesman said the 32-year-old victim was with a friend when he was attacked at the Rawalpindi Restaurant, in Front Street, Tynemouth, North Tyneside, at 11.30pm, on Saturday.
The attacker is described as in his early 20s, of medium build, with long, dark wavy hair brushed back.
He was with a man described as being of mixed race with short, dark cropped hair and a moustache.
