MEMORIES of the Derwentside men who fought in the First World War will go on display as youngsters perform a play about the bloody conflict.
Consett Theatre Workshop's junior group performs the musical Oh What A Lovely War at the Empire Theatre, Consett, from June 16-18.
The Local History Society is putting on an exhibition entitled War Memories 1914-1918, to run at the theatre alongside the production and is appealing for residents to contribute stories or artefacts for the display.
