Hogans bar in Bishop Auckland has sold toys and teddy bears and filled boxes on the bar to collect a total of £993 for the town's Butterwick Hospice.
Hospice fundraiser Beryl Anderson invited manager Dale Pinkney and barmaid Janet Bowser to visit the centre, in Woodhouse Lane.
Mr Pinkney said: "We always have some sort of effort on the go and we get tremendous support.
"It is a combination of good management, good staff and good customers."
