A RADIO station is spearheading an innovative and hard-hitting campaign to combat the dangers of drugs in the Teesside area, called Natural Highs.
As part of TFM's campaign, eight to 16-year-olds from some of the most deprived areas of the Tees Valley will get the chance to work with professional DJs and dancers in a series of workshops.
Reformed heroin users will also be at each event talking to youngsters about the real dangers of drug abuse.
The first workshop is being held at Billingham Forum, on Monday, starting at 10.30am.
The radio station, which is hosting the 14 free workshops during the February half-term holidays, hopes to turn youngsters on to the natural highs of DJ mixing and dance.
Natural Highs is run in association with Stockton on Tees Drug Action Team, Redcar and Cleveland Drug Action Team, Stockton- on-Tees Children's Fund and the Youth Service.
